Gigapixel

Gigapixel

Gigapixel photography captures a scene in great detail, to be seen online or printed in large formats.

One usage of these images are internet viral marketing campaigns, either through the image itself or games developed using it.

Gigapixel images are created by stitching a large number of photos, so that the photographed object is captured in great detail. Therefore, these images are also frequently used to document artworks and monuments.

In 2011 Digisfera created what was the largest picture of Lisbon at the time.

It was seen by over 50.000 visitors on our website and featured in several Portuguese newspapers and websites.

This partial Gigapixel photo was made during a Benfica game in Estádio da Luz.

A section of the stadium is visible in great detail, as well as several spectators who attended the match.
